Birds chatter at you from the treetops as you reach a prominent outcrop, which you spotted long before arriving at its base...

Some trees are growing out of the hill and leaves are piled at the base. The rocks are fractured and steep. Rotating 180 degrees the other side of the trail shows the river bank past which is a road with a short fence and a landscaped field. The trail continues in either direction through the mostly leafless trees under the clear blue sky.
